Our History
Hobart, founded in 1901, is the county seat of Kiowa County in southwestern Oklahoma. Named after Garret Hobart, the 24th Vice President of the United States, the town grew quickly during the Oklahoma land lottery. With deep agricultural roots, Hobart has played a significant role in the region's farming and ranching traditions.
